Qualifications:
My technical skills include a diverse range of programming languages and cybersecurity tools. Through the
experiences listed on my
resume, I have been able to develop these skills and understand their real-world applications in the
professional setting. As a
member of the Aggie Competitive Programming, I have been able to develop my object-oriented programming and
critical thinking
skills. I have also been able to enhance my web development skills by participating in
TAMUhack back-to-back years. My software
engineering journey culminated in an internship with Wells Fargo, where I got to learn from leading
professionals and showcase my
skills. You can learn more about my intern experience in my resume and by navigating here.
As a student worker in Texas A&M University
Cybersecurity
Apprenticeship Program, I have had great exposure to industry-standard
cybersecurity technologies like Splunk, Crowdstrike Falcon, and
Microsoft Defender. By using
these tools and internal applications,
I can complete investigations regarding potential threats to Texas A&M University networks and devices.
Within computer science, I am most interested in software development and data analytics. The 21st century has
marked the genesis
of the technological boom. Software development has enabled us to do things we never thought were possible
within the palm of our
hands. Furthermore, software development has a wide-ranging scope that applies to any field of work:
healthcare, finance, sports,
etc. The experiences listed on my resume have enabled me to apply and develop these skills. The possibilities
are endless with
software development, and I want to make a meaningful impact using this great power.
Data analytics has been one of the fuels behind this technological boom mentioned earlier. With its ability to
quickly uncover
patterns and trends from large sets of information, data analytics is a powerful tool that has helped enhance
existing and develop
new software. Although I have had not much experience with data engineering, I would love to be given the
opportunity to learn more.
To help me become more familiar with data analysis, I plan on taking applicable classes in future semesters.
